Ash Keating’s recent project Love Letter to a very Rocky Creek (Hume Response), the large-scale exterior painting of a factory in Craigieburn, shifted into its second installment as an exhibition of domestically scaled paintings inside a tilt-slab warehouse, now the artist’s working studio. It was the first time Keating had combined his public and studio based practices, providing an insight into how his works are read out of their usual context.
