PACE OF ASCOT VALE

Revitalising the junction of Mount Alexander Road and North Street, Pace of Ascot Vale breathes new energy into the local area. With a mix of materials and textures inspired by the neighbourhood’s historical buildings and curves softened by lush greenery, the building adds a touch of modern vitality to this architecturally rich suburb. Birds, who often use the waterways as migration routes, can be found passing overhead, resting in treetops, gathering food on the undergrowth or busily chirping from our backyard fences. David Booth’s mural features a handful of bird species as a means to celebrate the breadth of beauty to be found in our city environments.
